Just doing a survey:
If you knit, how old are you?
How long have you been knitting?
What are you working on?

I'm 51, learned to knit at 7 but have been knitting seriously for about 25 years. I'm almost finished with a baby sweater and then I'm starting a sweater for myself.

I'm 50, and like you, I first learned as a child, although I never took to it then. (I prefered to crochet.) A couple of years ago, I became enthralled with all the funky novelty yarn scarves that were selling for beaucoup bucks in boutiques, and decided I could make them myself for a lot less... the rest is history!

I get together one night a week with a bunch of knitters at a cafe near where I live, to hang out, knit, and talk. The age range is 14 to over 70! It's a drop-in group, so you never know who'll show up.

I'm still just doing scarves - I give them as gifts. I like that they're so easy and I don't have to think much. And it's so relaxing. Someday I'll branch out and maybe do a hat :)

I'm 29 for the umpteenth year in a row. I have been trying to knit since I was about 20, but I have finally caught the hang of it. I'd try and give up quite a bit, but now there's no stopping me!

I made a baby blanket for my niece (finished in April), and am working on a sweater for me.

I'm 50, and learned to knit at about 7 or 8. Didn't do much with it until about 3 years ago - when I've just turned into a knitting fiend. Currently knitting bunny rabbits (somehow they just multiply!). Love knitting socks. Getting ready to attempt a wedding shawl in lace-weight merino for my secretary who is getting married in October.

Spend a LOT of time on international flights, so knitting keeps me sane.

I've been knitting 2 years, I'm self taught with the help of a local knitting group and a local yarn store which hosts free lessons. (Peter Jones)

I'm just finishing a pair of baby booties. I mostly work on small projects, scarfs, booties, hats and handbags. First jumper attempt was disasterous but I've not given up. In my late 20's.

Yes, I knit! I've been knitting for a couple years. I'm 25 years old, and I'm working on about 10 things right now! My biggest current project is the "Paton's Divine Cardigan." a pattern I bought a leaflet for at Jo-Ann. Very Cute!

I love to knit. I'm 20 and started when I was 19 so that's one year. I'm a complusive project non-finisher. Right now I'm working on a pair of shorts for ballet, a shawl for my grandmother, and a scarf.
