Possession of non-medicinal marijuana, is still illegal all across Canada - even small personal-use quantities.

There's a tendency however, not to go after personal-use consumers, as the former Liberal government was thinking about decriminalizing it. However, who knows what the future holds, as the corrupt Liberals were kicked out of office just a few months ago.

no - this is no longer criminal notwithstanding like Amsterdam - this is de facto decrimialized for smaller parts - theoretically you could own as a lot as twenty-eight grams and it would not be considered criminal possession.. notwithstanding officials are waiting to excercise their discretion in this (ie. in case you act like a jerk - then they could throw you in reformatory..).. you should excercise discretion and consumer-friendly experience. That being stated - i have known advance-ops to get busted with little more desirable than a slap on the wrist ! in case you experience the favor to attempt the weed, would I propose: - three hundred block West Hastings, you'll locate the city's 2 greatest bookshop and café right here.. they don't promote it yet you'll haven't any problem scoring it (and then smoking it) right here. - A caveat do no longer stray east of right here on Hastings - no longer something yet crack zombies, % freaks and junkies) - commercial pressure - type of the "hippie zone" there are some top notch shops right here and a great number of those who smoke - wreck sea coast (contained in the summer season) - the city's international sought after nude sea coast, you could purchase incredibly a lot something right here from shrooms to hash, weed, smoothies, chilly beers, vegan sandwiches, pot cookies... purely keep in recommendations - BE possibility-free! there are distinct scumbags in this city that could attempt to take income of a pot vacationer.

Not only is it illegal, but if you are convicted of possession (even for personal use) in the US, you can be placed on a "do not admit" list and not be allowed to enter Canada.
