absolutely. there is no way they are a) worth that amount and b) need that amoun to live on. there are so many starving and homeless people in the world. at least there are some footballers who donate lots of money to charity but the vast majority do not.

Yes and No, Yes £100,000 a week to kick a ball is a bit over the top but 1, if the clubs are stupid enough to offer the top players it then I'm shore you wouldn't say no and 2, they could run on the pitch have a heavy tackle, break a leg or something else and that's there carer over with. so then £100,000 isn't so bad for a weeks foot ball plus they are only going to achieve this amount of pay in a short period in there carer as they earn very little to start with and then go and play for a lesser club at the end of there carer.

They are paid too much, whereas people who actually save lives get paid pittence. However, football clubs are owned by businesses, they have an owner, like Roman Abramovich who owns Chelsea, and Alan Sugar who owns Tottenham, this means they choose how much they want to pay the players. Firemen and Policemen are funded by the Government, who choose to pay them crap money, and keep all the good money for themselves.

yes good question too much just to play a game i was doing really hard work and i didnt even get paid 5 per hour and i didnt tell my mum because i needed work i should at least get paid 10 ph and footballers get 100,000 real harding working people like me get paid so low anyway ive left my job i aint working for nothing

The very top ones do. Players further down the food chain get £200 a week, which is nothing when you think their careers are over before they reach 40.

of course footballers are paid too much. They are very skilled and talented but the amounts they earn are obscene.
Like all things it is relative, Golfers, formula 1 racing drivers, all USA sports, TV celebrities, film stars, estate agents all these groups earn too much. What you gonna do?

No I don't think they do, football is the toughest game in the whole entire world, you have to run for 90 minutes and u really get tired like u are about to die.
