The tale is if the heart rate is faster it's a girl (over 150), slower it's a boy (under 140). If it's in the middle then you can't tell. I've had 3 (boy, girl, boy) and the first 2 fit the above, the last hovered in the middle.
Each pregnancy is different, but research has found that with girls you have more morning sickness and with boys you eat more. And again the first 2 fit the above, the last kept me guessing.

It's b/s. My baby boy is over 165 beats, which according to myth would make him a girl!

I think the saying is... if the heart beats fast it's a boy and if it doesn't it's a girl but none of that is true ,it's just an old wives tale.

Yes I've heard of it and no it's not true. There's only one way to determine the baby's sex before birth and that's with a scan and even then sometimes they can be wrong!

thought its not medically proved they say a faster heart rate usually indicates a girl a slower heart rate a boy... a good even heart is normally most new parents main concern though. Congratulations on your baby.

If the heart beat is fast you are having a girl and obviously if it is slow....should be a boy.
We joke around in our family and say "Of course a boy's heart beat is slow....they are already practicing to be lazy couch potatoes"
