I'm 24, I've been on a swim team since I was 14. I swim 3 kms daily. It's amazing in 10 years I've never worn a pair of speedos. Except once 8 years ago in a state competition, I was so nervous about it, the coach made me wear one, it got my trunks back on immediately after I finished, I can't barely remember what was it like.
Is it weird someone who's been swimming regularly for 10 years only to have worn a speedo once in his life?

People in Estonia love em! Everywhere we went, people in speedos! There was even a construction site where men were working, wearing speedos, hard hats, tube socks to their knees and construction boots! LOL!

There's nothing weird about not wearing Speedos. Or for wearing them, for that matter. It's just a matter of preference. I never wear them myself, even though I like to swim as often as I can. But I don't think anything weird of people who do wear them.

it is not bad to wear a speedo if you like what you do................ if you don't then quit! you know there are other things besides the speedo, too. if you have swim for 10 years you should know that!!!! I swam for a long time and i know that!

If you compete then it is okay, that is the uniform. You should be proud of what you have accomplished. There is no way you are a 300lb hairy 53 year old guy, so stop worrying.
On beaches, only the Europeans can get away with it and it doesn’t make it any less attractive.

yes at first it is but you get used to it eventually i wear jammerz during practice but when it comes time for a meet i usually wear a speedo

Lol at DR reply! I can understand a professional or competition swimmer wearing speedos during performances, but any other time they should be avoided. They are horrible!!!! Panties for men! Lol!!!!

If that's wierd, all men should be so wierd--absolutely NO man looks good in a Speedo, just embarrassingly ridiculous. Should you feel the urge to wear one, resist it and just wear your birthday suit.
