she's got an odd personality, needs to lose a little weight, and needs to clip her toenails, and maybe take out a few 'rings.

She is overweight and trying to bring attention away from that fact by dying her hair and piercing everything. Her long toe nails are probably from her lack of good hygiene due to the apathetic behaviour her low self esteem gives her.
