i was told that if MacDonald's didn't put gherkins in their burgers they would have to be classed as deserts due to the high sugar content.
if you go on the Mac d web page it gives you the sugar, fat calories etc per item and per 100g so that might help you.

Neither one is at all healthy. McDonald's may have salads, but they are covered in fattening dressing, and the fruit and yogurt parfait is not fat-free. Fast food restaurants will often claim that they are selling healthier foods, but they don't tell you everything about the food.

It all depends on what you order.

As some people have mentioned, salads often lose their nutritional benefit when covered in dressing. If you order a salad, use the dressing very sparingly (I found one from Mc Donalds with 60 grams of fat. Wow!) or don't use it at all. I use lemon juice for salad dressing. Also, be conscious of the cheese and croutons they often add on.

McDonalds, because of the healthy alternatives, but neither one really hits a homerun with health.

McDonalds is awful. Stay away from there. Fast food places are dangerous to your health. It ranks up there with smoking a pack of Marlboros a day.

you don't want to do it.

uumm I think they're both not very nutricious for you. They are both in the fast fod catagory, and none of those places will help your body.
