I would spend as much time with my family and friends (in that order) as I could. I would take a lot of day trips with my family. Make sure my dog would be loved and cared for when I was gone. Make sure all my death details (cremation, disposal of ashes, funeral, bills, etc) were taken care of so my family would not have to worry about it. I would sell my car and give the money to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. I would make sure I told everyone I love that I do love them. I would draw a lot of pictures, do a lot of crafts and write a lot of poems for my family to remember me by. I would make certain that my ashes were late for the funeral so I can say in the afterlife that I really was late for my own funeral (after being on time for everything else) (yes I really do intend to do that). I would have a really big party with all of my friends and family. When the day came, I would have my family (including the dog) around, remember the good times, and leave this life in comfortable familiar surroundings at home, surrounded by those I love most.

this song reminds me of what I would want to do.
Live Like You Were Dying
I went sky diving I went rocky
mountain climbing
I went two point seven seconds on a
bull named Fumanchu
And I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
And I gave forgiveness I'd been denying
And he said one day I hope you get a
chance
To live like you were dying
He said I was finally the husband
That most the time I wasn't
And I became a friend a friend would
like to have
And all 'a sudden going fishin'
Wasn't such an imposition
And I went three times that year I lost
my dad
And I finally read the good book
And I took a good long hard look
At what I'd do if I could do it all
again...and then
C H O R U S
Like tomorrow was a gift
And you've got eternity to think of what
you did with it
What you did with it...what did I do with it
C H O R U S

There is a large difference between a few months and a few years. If it were only a few months then i would most likely travel to all of my family that I'm close to. Go to the bank take out my money go on one amazing trip and then any extra money i would give to my family. If i had a few years(2-3 years) i would probably live my life like i normally would until it got close to the end. And it of course would depend on if i was physically able.

If I could, I would have a one room house built on a beach with an oak grove behind it and in the distance mountains. I would sculpt, paint, read, and write. I would give parties. I would contemplate the universe. I would enjoy the peace and celebrate with friends and family.

I'd keep on keep'n on. Live the same pretty much. Just not take as many things for granted and not take as much crap. Only one way to live....to the fullest. We all live as if we only have a few months or years and who knows....maybe we'll be given a few more months and years to live.

I would make sure everyone who means anything to me would know how I feel about them..i'd find my cat a really good home to go to...i'd get rid of most of my stuff so that my brother wouldn't have to deal with going through it all..i'd plan and try to pay for my funeral in advance so that my brother wouldn't have to...i'd go skinny dipping, i'd sing karaoke...I may parasail..or bungee jump..things i've been to afraid to do...i'd try and do all the things i've been to afraid of...
