Chuy’s in Austin is one of my favorites. There is also a Dallas location. Esparza’s in Grapevine is excellent. There is also a place in Arlington called Mariano's. Uncle Julio’s is also a popular spot with Dallas and Fort Worth locations.

I have eaten Mexican food at hundreds of Mexican Restaurants in Texas, in almost every major city. My favorite of them all is a Restaraunt called Escalantes in Houston. There are two of them. One near Bellaire and another near Memorial.
