Even as a ps3 fan, I find that appalling. Competition is good for game markets. If halo 3 were on the playstation, I think the 360, Microsoft, and Bill Gates would all spontaneously combust. I guess that wouldn't be too bad for Bill Gates though. Because Microsoft has the money to restore him...to make him better than he was before. Better...stronger...faster...

Some development companies are under contract to Sony or Microsoft to only make their games for 1 platform (console) EVER or at least not make the game for some other console until a certain amount of time has passed. This is why GTA san andreas took so long to come out for xbox after release on ps2. This is also why you will never see Metal Gear Solid on Xbox 360.

No. Bungie makes the game. Bungie was bought out by Microsoft after the first game. It will never come out on PS3.
