well they did make the biggest nuke ever and beat America in every major accomplishment in space, i think that is good technology that they made

well they launched the world's first artificial satellite, orbited the first mammal, and put the first man in space.
but i reckon the zenit lomo is one of the finest pieces of kit i ever owned.
