It would have to be Pantera back in 1990 when they released "Cowboys from Hell".
This was a time when everyone was selling out and getting more mellow and more concerned with how they looked than how they sounded (I hope you're reading this Metallica).
And here comes this group of guys who don't wear leather pants or spike up their hair and any of that crap. Just listening to them, I could tell that the music was the most important thing.

When I have a really bad day, I listen to some hard rock or something really loud. If I am happy, then I just listen to All-American Rejects and Linkin Park :D

music is my life, so of course, it happens all the time, DevilDriver's "the fury of our maker's hand" gave me new strength when i listened to it, i felt great, untouchable, i wish they'd make another album, gotta give e'm time though, the rhcp album stadium arcadium is really good, it's beautiful, everything by the deftones is cold and cutting edge and i love it, system of a down's mezmerize/hypnotize albums changed alot of my views on everything in general in a good way, cold's 13 ways to bleed on stage was a great cd a few years ago, scooter sang about everything he was going though, oddly i was going through the same things, same thing with NIN.

When I am really mad, sad, or just in a terrible mood, music makes me feel loads better!!! Switchfoot (my fave band) really helps me get over whatever is bugging me with their amazing lyrics and sound, and that is why I love music, especially theirs. The ability that it has to help people through the daily pressures and issues of life is just sooo amazing.
