It depands if the girl is in love with u just break the news over a romantic dinner and like dont be sad if she walks away if she does just tell sorry about that BIG NEWS and ask her if you guys can just be friends...

Well the fact that you haven't told her in years tells me that you should just take her to one side and get it out in the open. I think if u have been friends or close in any way, she probably feels the same, but you'll never know unless you just tell her. Make sure it's somewhere where you won't be disturbed so that you can get a proper response though!!

ok! i'll give u my idea.go to a dance with her.like a ball dance/ disco.then after a long tiresome dance go sit down then start with something like what do u think abt me?/anything else. then after a short talk abt it tell her that she looks execptionally beautiful today&that u think it is so because you had felt an execptional love for her all these years of your togetherness.then get close.

Does this girl have anyone in her life? is she happy in her relationship? if the answer is no- theres noboby in her life-what have you got to lose-maybe she feels the same about you, who knows.the only away youll find out is by telling her your true feelings.

What news? That you love him/her, or something else? I guess if it's that you love him/her, just say, "I love you, I've loved you since ------."
