Theres a bit of software, http://pages.123-reg.co.uk/lac247-75119/onegenecouk/id152.html
UK Info People finder, bit pricey here, try E-Bay. Its a roll up of electoral roles, telephone directories etc. Maybe this will help. Good luck. Tried a free givaway with a magazine a few years ago, found some schoolfriends from 50 yrs ago....

If you know the area he lives in, you could try the electorall register, but it could take months. Have you tried having a chat with the Salvation Army???They are lovely, and very helpful, and they do specialise in this. Good luck

I know a lot of people put a name up here asking if anyone knows that person. Ask at various times.
