Are you saying she has a cleft palet? I would contact a plastic surgeon in your area. If that is what you are talking about it requires surgery to fix. My daughter didnt have a cleft palet but she did have facial surgery. You are on the correct track for her then/.

Give her a raise and insurance so she can afford to see a reconstructive doctor (like a plastic surgeon, but a bit diffferent.) Make sure that you also have psych support for her before and after the surgery. It can be a bit tramatizing the reactions she may get from people and the healing process.

I worked in a hectic oral surgical treatment branch and taken care of lots of sufferers with this problem and on occasion it would desire to have been occurring for years. You did no longer say, yet on occasion, they had poorly setting up dentures and this grew to become into inflicting saliva to maintain the section moist and small fissures (cracks) might sort on the corners of the mouth. A vicious circle might then be set in place. sufferers have been robotically examined for blood deficiencies, which incorporate supplementations. A swab grew to become into taken from each corner. On many activities, the reason grew to become right into a fungal an infection, requiring scientific care with an anti-fungal cream/ointment and on occasion, lozenges besides. have you ever asked your dentist for help with this problem. propose you call the prepare and ask for some suggestion. good luck.
