Yes, I've been to Mexico, Honduras, Canada, Greece, England, Spain, and Italy. In retrospect the Honduras and Greece trips were the best, although they didn't seem to be at the time.
During both trips I was student [i.e. slave] labor for anthropology professors on archaeological excavations. But working and living in both of those countries for an extended amount of time gave me an opportunity to experience the culture in a way that most tourists don't get to.
I would encourage everyone to spend some time doing some volunteer work in another country, though not necessarily on archaeological expeditions - I'm slightly bitter! ;)

I went to New Zealand(we hosted an AFS student for there), Australia, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, Bermuda, and most of the Caribbean islands where the cruise ships go. we are now gong to concentrate on visiting the 50 US states. i have 18 to go now, but after a bus trip to Oregon in July and another thru New England in October, will only have 7 to see.

Yes, I've lived in Europe for several years, mainly in the Federal Republic of Germany (below Frankfurt in the south eastern part). I've visited Luxembourg, Italy, France, Andorra, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland. I suppose if I had to choose I think I enjoyed visiting Spain the best of all. There is the best of all worlds in Spain especially if you live on the Mediterranean Coast.

Wow, I would love to see China and Japan and basically all the places you have been. I've been to Canada as well but been through Europe; Italy, Austria, France, England, Germany and Ireland. Italy was my favorite, it was gorgeous everywhere you went and there was the best food and God the homemade wines! Unbelievable!

I lived in Germany for 2 and 1/2 years and traveled while I was there - France, Belgium, Lichtenstein, Great Britain, Spain, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Italy was by far the best, beautiful country, GREAT food!
My husband is dying to go to Japan, you should email me!

I've been to Switzerland, Italy, Brazil, Australia (I was born there), Panama, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, New Zealand, and probably a few more I just don't know right now.
