I'd like to have a "center" speaker in my vehicle. I thought I'd take left positive and right negative form my amp to the terminals on the speaker. (Like bridging) or come off the RF and LF speakers in the same fashion. I asked this question earlir and a ham replied that i'd need a stereo crossover and "dual input" speaker..is this the only way?

The only cheap way to do this would be to put 2 smaller speakers in one mount and power them individually. Otherwise you would need to find a dual input speaker and possibly a bridge.

That will probably get you sound, but connecting a speaker like that could be hazerdous to your amp's health.
