I think maybe they are! My husband has been looking for one for more than a month now, and our local farm supply/gardening supply store can't seem to get one for us. They're still looking. We need it for the strip on the road, because it's on a slope, which makes it dangerous to use the regular mower. The week whacker does a bad job on the long grass there and to cut it by hand or with a scythe is impossible.
How much are you asking for it?

My husband is a mower nut!! He buys a lot of used mowers, some cases he finally ends up with quite good mowers and each from time to time he gets a load of junk. He re sells them for factors. Run an advert on your close by paper or positioned a demonstration on your close by food market etc. good luck! and chuffed mowing.

Mainly worth something to someone who is cutting something like bermuda grass, or any sort of ultra fine grass that are used on putting greens. Otherwise, not much at all.

They sure are they are selling in the stores for $200 and that is at Wal-Mart. Hang on to it. It is better for the grass and you really get a work out.

If you mean the rotary ones, sans engine, then the Amish use those to mow with. Head to Amish country.

yes, especially if they work. Just keep the wheels lubricated and the blades sharp ... and cutting the grass is good exercise.
