Out of those four, I would have to say Led Zeppelin is my personal favorite. I think it's really hard to say which band is the best of all time, though. I thinkl it's just based on the listeners opinion. My all-time favorite would have to be The Clash, but all the bands you have listed are good.

The Beatles. Not because I like them so much. Just look how many great songs they put out in such a short amount of time. Also, every band member went on to have a successful solo career after they broke up. The Beatles were just amazing.

Stones.
Credit should be given to all the american bluesmen that supplied a lot of the songs that these young (at one time) artists played.
It's funny I live near Chicago, well known for blues and first heard a lot of them from versions done by the Stones and Led Zep; who lived overseas in england / ireland.
