This happens a lot in the summer because we have no shoes on or we wear shoes where our heels are exposed and rub on our shoes. The best thing to do is get a foot file (they sell them everywhere drug stores/wal-mart/victoria's secret/Sally's Beauty Supply...etc) and gently file your heel. Soak in warm water and them apply a thick lotion. Try to keep socks on when you're wandering around the house instead of just going bare foot. If your heels are really dry and cracked you may want to buy some petroleum jelly and apply it to your heels and leave it on for like an hour or so.

I have that difficulty too, and that i remedy it through doing one or 2 'mini-pedicures' per week, and have self belief me, my ft are staggering! First, you want: a million. A pumice stone, it really is an exfoliating stone you should purchase at maximum drugstores 2. a sturdy moisturiser 3. a pair of previous socks 4. some plastic luggage (produce luggage are acceptable) 5. some olive oil or different oil 6. Hand/foot grooming equipment, like a cuticle pusher, nail report and nail clipper. I attempt this contained in the bathe because I HATE sitting round with my ft soaking in water. It saves time also. you would possibly want to do it through soaking your ft the similar old way in case you want. On an afternoon once you should do each and every thing contained in the bathe (wash your hair, shave, etc), plug the bathe drain so the water collects, and bathe as commonplace. Your ft will soak once you're showering. Then sit down someplace, ideally on the sting of the tub, and punctiliously pumice off as a lot of your lifeless skin as accessible. This truly takes a jiffy. Then thoroughly wash your ft, rinse them and dry them. instantly, even as your cuticles and nails are tender, beat back your cuticles, clip and report your nails, and - it really is major!! - report the acceptable of your nails too, because this smooths out the ridges and receives rid of discolouration. save on with a beneficiant quantity of moisturiser and oil, stick your ft into the plastic luggage, and canopy your ft with the socks. enable your ft 'soak' contained in the moisturiser bathtub for an hour a minimum of, or see you later as you could stand it.

Start off with a pedicure, Then every time you shower apply lotion and put thick socks on. The best lotion for cracked feet is Bath&Body Heel Of Approval it works miracles, and take your shoes off when you get in the house. that always helps me

After getting out of the shower or tub, pat your feet dry. Apply oil to your heels and it will keep it moisturized all day.

get a thick night moisturizing lotion, put it on your feet and then put cotton socks on over them before bed. That should help retain the moisture. Also Satin Hands by Mary Kay is a great way to smooth out hands and feet.

I went to sally's and I bought Heel to Toe. It is to soften corns and rough cracked heels and calluses. When I wake up I put some on and I wear socks. Before I go to sleep I put some on. (sometimes I wear socks but I think I end of taking them off.)

Use a pumice stone in the shower pat them dry when you get out then apply lotion. Instead of using socks at night use nylons(the booties kind) it helps keeping moisture in. Cotton absorbs so it will absorb the lotion. I like hemp lotion at the body shop. It works really well

Use a pumice stone on 'em regularly and I put petroleum jelly on them and then wear socks to bed once a week and use some really good lotion especially for feet regularly.

This is going to sound weird but:
Put vasoline on your feet and wrap them in plastic bags. Go to sleep. In the morning give yourself a pedicure and put on lotion daily after that.
