It saved them an estimated ten years development time and money. They now have missiles capable of hitting the west coast, and have threatened that use. They are using them to intimidate the U.S. against assisting Taiwan if the Chicoms decide to invade, this is also threatened. I suppose if you're a leftist, no it wasn't wrong. the Chinese are the ones that designed most of the components to the missles and plus just in case the North koreans decide to do something we might be able to count on the chinease to shoot down that missle with our patriot missle cause from that side we have to get clearence to fly anything over Chinese air space.
