No, it is not. The ovulation test may be wrong. Or you may not be checking correctly. Or you may not be fertile even if you are ovulating.

Please read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler for detailed information. And get rid of the ovulation predictor kits.

I hated those test! They are expensive and I got positive results for the entire week. I think that they are letting you know that ovulation is near and its time to start having sex. I used the temperature and mucus method and, unless I had a fever, it worked great. I have 4 kids! When you see the mucus, then you are ovulating. If you are trying to conceive, then I would recommend having sex the whole week during the cycle. Starting 3-4 days before to 1-2 days after ovulation. Good luck.

The OPK indicates a surge in LH, which means your are about to ovulate. It could mean that the stretchy eggwhite is coming in a day or 2. Some women, however, never experience the stretchy eggwhite CM, or have a harder time noticing it. I don't always notice it every month, but I get positive OPKs also. It really depends on your body. Good luck!

Priest walking along a cliff, sees a little boy crying. "What's wrong, little boy?" he asks.
"My Mummy fell over the cliff" cries the boy, "and then my daddy fell over too trying to save her, and now they're both dead at the bottom of the cliff".

"Oh dear" says the priest, lifting his cassock, "today isn't your lucky day, is it?"
