I would try my hardest to forgive her but that doesn't mean that you have to trust her. And try to understand why she told that person your secrets?!

Yea sure, forgive her but just don't tell her any secrets anymore 'cause some people just don't know how to keep quiet, also if she was a true friend she wouldn't have done it in the first place!

Well that depends on whether she did this maliciously or not. Sometimes a secret is revealed and it wasn't meant to be. We can be very remorseful about it, and forgiveness at this point should be granted. If it was revealed on a malicious level and meant to be said in a hurtful manner, I'd think twice about trusting her again, and calling her my best friend in the future.

You can forgive her, but now you know you can't trust her with anything that you need kept secret. She can still be a friend, but just don't trust her. And tell her....that you don't trust her. Have a good day

You should always try to forgive, but I wouldn't forget if I were you. Big difference. Be a gracious lady and forgive her, but your friendship is going to be very different now, should you choose to keep it going. If you do, don't tell her anything personal ever again. And don't ever sink to her level and do what she did. One of the most honorable things you can do is always keep the secrets you promised never to tell.

Yes you can but it is going to take some time. There is always going to be people who hurt you, all you have to do is be more careful the next time around about who you trust. I forgive my best friend for doing that to me, but eventually we grew apart. Dont give up on your friendship

I have forgiven friends for telling secrets. If she is a really good friend and you all have a lot of history I would you shouldn't let something that petty come between friends you might need her one day here soon. I forgave my friend and we are still friends today.

I think you should, but not right away. He/she needs to know how much it hurt you and how you feel about the whole situation before you decide to actually forgive him/her. If he/she understands where youre coming from then you can forgive without thinking twice, but if he/she doesnt then Id be skeptical about your relationship.

You might be able to forgive her but for god's sake, don't tell her anymore secrets.
