Stanley Marsh III's Cadillac ranch on interstate 40 west of Amarillo. All the cars are buried nose down with their "tails" facing Mecca. Stanley had these cars dug-up and moved about 6 or 7 years ago because the city was growing and he said "the girls" (his cars) didn't like the smell of the city they like the smell of cow manure..

Carhenge, just north of Alliance, Nebraska has a bunch of old cars buried and stacked in the exact same layout a Stonehenge.

There's a spot, I think in Arizona, that features a zany "sculpture" featuring cars standing on their noses, partially buried in the ground.

There may be some other similar locales.

But if you are looking for classic cars to exhume and restore, you'll have to rent a small plane and spend several days flying quite low and slow over the upper Mojave desert between Las Vegas, nevada, and San Bernardino, California. Out there in the most remote spots, you can see old cars right back to Model Ts, as well as abandoned Sherman tanks, WWII Army trucks and self-propelled guns, crashed fighters, bombers and observation aircraft, water trucks - just about anything you can imagine.

It's actually rather fascinating. In the old tank training grounds used by General Patton the clover-leaf shape left by tanks preparing for war by practicing their maneuvers are still sharp and clear.

Actually being able to retrieve any of these long-abandoned vehicles is quite another story. Give it up.

Just outside of Amarillo, TX you can find the Cadillac Ranch. There's 8-10 Cadillacs half buried in the middle of a Field. They represent the different fins that the Cadillac has had over the years.

Well, there is the Cadillac Ranch just outside of Amarillo, TX. There are about 8 or 9 old Cadillacs sticking out of the ground in the middle of field, they are covered in years worth of grafitti.
Hope that helps.
