I'd almost say she's a political humorist, except quite a few people take her seriously - then again, quite a few people take World Wrestling Federation seriously.
Her goal is clever entertainment that appeals to conservatives. The way she says things is more important than the substance of her books, comments, etc. Somewhat similar to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, except she's wittier and more intelligent than Limbaugh and Hannity.

She's like a conservative yahoo troll who got famous with her trolling. Here are a few quotes:
"Liberals hate America, they hate flag-wavers, they hate abortion opponents, they hate all religions except Islam, post 9/11. Even Islamic terrorists don't hate America like liberals do. They don't have the energy. If they had that much energy, they'd have indoor plumbing by now."
"The ethic of conservation is the explicit abnegation of man's dominion over the Earth. The lower species are here for our use. God said so: Go forth, be fruitful, multiply, and rape the planet — it's yours. That's our job: drilling, mining and stripping. Sweaters are the anti-Biblical view. Big gas-guzzling cars with phones and CD players and wet bars — that's the Biblical view."
VESTER: "You say you’d rather not talk to liberals at all?"
COULTER: "I think a baseball bat is the most effective way these days."
"Conservatives believe man was created in God's image, while liberals believe they are gods. All of the behavioral tics of the liberals proceed from their godless belief that they can murder the unborn because they, the liberals, are themselves gods. They try to forcibly create 'equality' through affirmative action and wealth redistribution because they are gods. They flat-out lie, with no higher power to constrain them, because they are gods. They adore pornography and the mechanization of sex because man is just an animal, and they are gods. They revere the UN and not the U.S. because they aren't Americans -- they are gods."
There. That's who Ann Coulter is. Look her up on wikipedia if you want.

Ann Coulter is the author of many political books (such as Godless: Church of Liberalism) who, like ALL the Liberals out there, makes a few personal attacks.
She is very smart and under each personal attack is pure facts. Though some may argue the personal attacks are unnecessary, this is not the point. The point is that she does not lie with anything she says, she is just very outspoken.
As long as you aren't a Liberal who enjoys making victims out of anyone they can and says their offended by any opposition to their views, I would suggest reading one of her books.

Ann Coulter is a conservative mouthpiece. She is very vocal in her republican/conservative agenda, which is why people either love her or hate her. I recommend picking up her most recent book "Godless: The Church of Liberalism" to find out what she has to say. And whether you like her or not, one has to admit that she is an extremely intelligent woman.
