What are some advanced SUDOKU logic strategies *****?

I can blow through level 3 sudoku puzzles in minutes, Strugle a little on level 4 puzzles, and some level 5 puzzles I just can not figure out. Maybe somone can explain a stratagy I have yet to comprehend.

put all the possible #s in the corner in pencil then erase what cant be used as you go.
