Bill's last win came in 2003 at the pop secret popcorn 400 at Rockingham it was his 44th win. I can remember when Elliot was truly Awesome Bill from Dawsonville he still holds the record for the fastest qualifying speed for a NASCAR race.

those guys are right about rockingham, but he ALMOST won the season finale at homestead the next week too, he ran out of gas if i remember right with 2 laps to go(or maybe it was a cut tire) after dominating the race
