2002 they were Knocked Out In the group stages.

In 1966, they placed 3rd
In 1986 and 2002, they made it into the group but were knocked out.
This year they have made it at least to the quarter final, if not further...the next couple of days will tell.

they have made the qualifier rounds everytime but this is the first time since the 1970s that they made it this far
