How do people know that zac efron lip sang in high school musical?

I've answered this question so many times, it's great :)

Zac Efron does not sing ALL of his parts in "High School Musical." It is actually singer Andrew, or Drew, Seeley (like you mentioned up there) who is singing. If you listen to the songs on the soundtrack, especially one like "Breaking Free," you can tell that it IS Zac in the beginning with his nasally voice. After that intro is over though, and it switches to Gabriella and then back to Troy, the new Troy's voice is different, it is "smoother" or whatnot--that's Drew singing. The Billboard Chart also credits Drew Seeley with singing on the songs and you can check out Drew's official website below. Check out his Myspace Music site as well.

Everyone lip sync on High School Musical. You can't sing live in movies. Zac had someone who would do the higher notes in the songs. His name was Drew Seely. All the other cast members sang without help.

The only parts sang live in the movie are when Ashley is singing Bop To The Stop in the hall and when Zac sang to Vanessa on the balcony. Thats all I know of.

No only because they recorded it in the booth then played it in the movie. They really sang those songs but in the movie they Lip synced! The only song Zac didn't sing was Get cha' head in the game! Anderw Seely sang that! I see High School Musical 26 times!

Even if he does who cares. Its not uncommon for people to lip sync. Stars like Beyonce, Jennifer Lopec, Kelly Clarkson lip sync everyone once in a while. Who wouldnt? When youre a singer you have to do a big amount of concerts in a month, not lip syncing every once in a while puts your voice in major strain. Lip syncing helps singers maintain a good voice. I cant stand when people talk bad on stars who lip sync because they dont know the whole deal of it.

no one actually sings live in movies. they either do it before the scene or they are not the ones actually singing. i, personally, think that zac efron can't sing. He's just cute!

That was Drew Seely and he sings some of the songs on HSM with Zac because Zac isn't an awesome singer. and some songs Drew sang entirely for Zac, so he did lipsync in the movie. He couldn't be at the concert because he was filming Hairspray in Canada. But in HSM 2 he sings Bet On It all by himself, and in my opinion he's better than Drew Seely!!
