I was born and raised in Odessa. If memory serves Arlington and Mesquite is very Hot and Humid with Mesquite being a little dryer. Dress cool and watch for chiggers. I do not miss them but in the humidity they are an itchy bunch.

LOL yep the saying in Texas is "stick your head outside to see what the weather is....then wait 5 min. and it'll change". I live in Arlington and today it's only 94 but the humidity is what really gets you. Where your hair up and cool loose clothing and you'll be fine. Don't forget the sunblock too! No rain in the forecast but like I said above the weather changes all the time.

I live in Arlington.
The weather this week is a bit cooler than normal. It is about 90 or so, but usually it is 98 about now. We have a bit of a cool front here right now, so it really isn't that bad compared to what is could be.

You can find excellent info in easy format at
http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/TX_cc_us.html
But the main thing to remember about TX weather is: IT CHANGES!!!
I have gone out there and had it in the seventies one day and gotten SNOWED IN THE NEXT (in the springtime), and the last time I drove out that way A HURRICANE CAME IN OFF-COURSE! So be SURE to check out the WATCHES AND WARNINGS both BEFORE YOU GO AND WHILE YOU ARE THERE! :P LOL
Best wishes! Be SAFE!
