Fresh--and probably cleaner than the water many people in the world drink (depends on the cleanliness of your toilet). Prove it to yourself. If you taste it, you will know for sure.

Fresh water, just like the water you drink, except it's in the toilet... All the water that comes into your house is from the same water lines.

About as "fresh" as in those tampon commercials. Maybe your toilet boil is salt water if your salty goat balls hangs so low that the tide changes, lol.
