why do people playing the air guitar only move one hand?

so, does anybody know? look at someone playing air guitar and do you see their hand? they only move one!

They are horrid. When I get into it and air guitar I use both hands. But when you use both hands it looks liek your tryign to pleasure yourself. I think people who dont play guitar only use one hand. Its nhatural to use two if you play guitar because both hands are always moving.

The question is why does anybody play air guitar?? It looks do stupid and ridiculous. You would never catch me doing it. But then again, I am a female. You would never catch me spinning tires in my car either. Tires cost too much!!!!

Well they haven't seen me. I pick an air guitar in the traditional way... with both hands, one fretting and one strumming

because they have no idea how to play guitar, and probably never have seen someone actually play a real guitar.
or, they just don't care.

You never see anyone playing air drums with one hand....unless they are drumming to a Def Leppard song.
