Foreclosures are a matter of public record and you can find them at your county courthouse. Bidding on foreclosed properties can be fierce since everyone is looking for a bargain. There are bargains to be had, but it can be frustrating and time consuming.

Not hard to find them, but hard to buy a "good" one for short money. There's lots of competition among buyers.
