I think he is perfect for the new Superman movie. I am a huge superman fan when i was young. I grew up watching Christopher Reeves being superman and he is the best yet. However, this guy could be the next big thing. Im glad they didnt pick a person who people recognized because that would be weird. All my female fans think he's hot! I dont really care if he's hot or not because basicly I am not gay. All i care about is if he can step in the footstep of Reeves. I heard good ratings for this movie and i heard that suprising the story will be great. Critics said that this movie could be the best comic book action movie ever, better than Hulk, Xman, and Spiderman.

It's good when they get a newcomer to play a very famous face. Superman is so recognizable it's better to not have a superstar play him.

I think he has the pretty boy appeal that Superman needs to have. I wish he could be a little more manly though. Kind of like the guy from Lois and Clark but, I'm glad they went with someone who isn't well known enough that he's associated with other things in peoples minds. Now when they look at him they'll think Superman.

Christopher Reeve, to me, IS Superman (not to mention that his costume stays faithful to the comic book). But it'll be interesting to see how Brandon Routh handles the job. So far, my only complaint is that he looks like he has padding in his costume.

I think he looks great, I can't wait to see the movie (I am a HUGE Superman fan). And I agree, it was very wise not to put a known actor in the role.

besides the fact that he is HOT.. the movie cost around $250 million, the highest for any movies' production, so i hope it's good!
