It's all about changing your lifestyle 1) always eat breakfast (1 serving of a hot 7 grain ceral with fresh fruit, you can add bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raisens, a few almonds. Have a slice or two of a whole grain bread, dab of soy butter optional) 2) drink pleanty of water (at least 8-10 full glasses a day or more if you can) 3) have a healthy large salad for lunch (without all that fattening dressing.

Try making your own dressing made with equal parts balsamic vinager, fresh lemon juice, Italian seasonings and 2 teaspoons of expeller cold pressed extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of sea salt. 3) Cut ALL sugar, All foods with hydrogenated oils, fried foods, processed foods, soft drinks, sodas and fruit juices that contain high sugar. 4) Make sure your last meal is at least 3 - 4 hours prior to going to bed. Believe it or not a baked potato has very good nuturtional value. Just stay away from adding butter, sour cream, cheese etc, because that's fattening. You can add sesonings such as herbs and spices that are low on sodium and high on flavor. You can also get lots of protein from any type of fresh beans and brown rice combination.

5) Stay away from dairy.. try soy milk or rice milk. 6) Walking at least three times a week for 30 minutes (this is a must). 7) If you're truly determined to loose the weight quickly, you can substitue one meal with fresh juice. Buy a juice machine and have a tall glass of fresh carrot juice or fresh fruit juice (try a combination of fresh pineapple, orange and mango, or strawberry, cantelope and melon.. yum.. yum) for your evening meal. Don't forget Drink lots of water especially when you are tempted to snack, or have an apple or some other piece of fruit if you must snack between meals.

Stick with your breakfast meal and mostly have fresh fruit and vegetables for 4 weeks. You can always include beans and tofu for protein).. Stay away from meat it takes too long to digest and way too long to eliminate from your system however, if you must have it, eat very very lean small portions. It should serve as a side dish/garnish not the main portion of your meal. You should notice a difference in weight difference two weeks. Be consistant and don't cheat...Watch the pounds drop off.

south beach diet is a good low carb jump off and it will be simple to follow. Be sure to add exercise in there (at least 30 min 5 days a week) to burn the calories. stay away from empty calories like sodas. Crystal light has great flavorful no calor substitutes. you might try that. No diet will work overnight. The average person will lose about 5 pounds a week and that is healthy.

Remember skipping meals will make you gain weight. eat about 5 or 6 small meals as opposed to 2 or 3 large meals. it keeps the metabolisim going.

I guess it all depends on what you like to eat. I've heard that lots of fiber is good. So you might want to eat cereal. When you are buying cereal look on the back for the calorie counters and fat grams and all of that good stuff....Fruit is also good (bananas, apples, etc.) If you are serious about loosing weight then I suggest you eat 3 full meals a day and at least 2 snacks. And don't eat after 7p.m. As far as snacks go peanuts are good, yogurt, fruit, cheese and crackers, vegetables, like celerie or carrots, peanut butter....all good stuff. As far as lunch goes, sandwiches are good, limit the chips though. You can just about eat anything as long as you drink at least eight glasses of water. You know what's good and what's not. Cheese burgers are bad. As far as dinner goes...baked chicken, baked fish, etc.....Pasta is not that good for you so it should be limited! Don't forget the workout plan. If you have the time on your hands I would suggest you workout at least 20-30 minutes a day. It will start feeling good and you will want to work out more but don't forget to eat because the more calories you have to burn, the better...I hope this helps! Good luck!

First...babe, I'm sorry, but you can't do it. Been there, done that, if you even try, you'll just gain weight.
But to see a permanent change about four months from now:
Start eating tons of fruits and vegetables, no such thing as too much of those. Substitute air-popped popcorn, no butter for your salty snack. Lower-fat milk, yoghurts, limit the cheeses, whole grain breads, lean meat, tofu, etc. Look up low-cal desert recipes, make them and keep them around for craving times.
Start weight lifting at least three times a week (boosts metabolism, builds lean muscle mass, don't worry if you think you're gaining weight, you're actually shrinking). Exercise. The last time I needed to lose weight quickly, about two hours a day for three weeks did it. Then keep it up until you like your body.

first of all take it easy, if you get too anxious, it could cause you to eat more ....Experience is talking.... what I did is eat every 2 hours (not a big meal but yes... eat friuts, yogurt, snack bars (healthy, like special k) sugar free jello, stuff like that) drink lots of water and maybe crystal lights, brush your teeth regularly because the mints eliminate the desire for sweets (did you know that your taste buds converts everything in sugars!!!!) but brush your teeth and tongue....I use this diet (look under Weight Loss and Nutrition) https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arbonnepuertorico.nsf/p1/1?OpenDocument&shoppingcart=1..... it is called Figure 8 and the best part is that they are natural and botanical ingredients and the sugars are natural not artificial. The dietary supplements help me a whole lot and i drink 1 pill 30 minutes before my regular meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner not the snacks) and they do not contain ingredients like caffeine, nor ephedra but they have ingredients (8) that will help your metabolism get going and suppresses your appetite..... and this was a big problem for me after i gave birth to my son i had complications and my metabolism was slowing down. Also remember you should have a physical exam with your doctor just to verify their is no health conditions.... check tyroids, and diabetics just to make sure.... Good luck ....

im in the same situation.I am skipping one meal a day that I convince myself I don't have time for because I end up overeating at one meal.Try to have the preparer of the meal to give you very small portions.Hold the fries.Get low-fat dairy products.Don't eat pasta or carbs at every chance you get.The diet isn't all you need to do.Get outside and do some walking to the mailbox. But do try to pick up the pace each day.Get some rope and make a jump rope.
