you could try washing it several times in hot water and detergent. you have to be careful with bleach..bleach tends to run at times or spot.

Hi, I've had this same problemo before. Here is what I did. Don't use liquid detergent, use the powder kind... Add the detergent and some bleach (not too much bleach, maybe about 1/4 cup) into hot water, and after the washer has filled, add the pants. This way ,you won't get any bleach spots. Just lighter jeans.

Rub on bleach in the spots you want lighter.Then wash em.If u want the whole pair lighter, toss in some whightening soap

I was a master of this in high school. fill the bathtub with enough water to submerge the jeans flat. mix in 1 cup of bleach and stir. place the jeans in the tub and move them back and forth to eliminate spotting. Rinse and wash seperately.

Bleach may make them streaky. Have you tried washing them in hat water? My bofriend always gets dark jeans and the color never lasts very long.

Bleach, you're liable to get big white spots.
Try fine grain sandpaper. Or just wash 'em a billion times.

THE MORE YOU WASH THEM THE LIGHTER THEY GET. BUT BLEACH FOR COLORS IS GOOD I THINK CLOROX PUT OUT THAT KIND OF BLEACH.

There is fast fade made by rit dyes I think. Much safer than bleach.
