They both sound very nice but Aisha is more unique and Marissa is more common.

Aisha. Sorry to disagree with people but I used to know a spoilt brat called Marissa and it's put me off the name. People will always call her Melissa as well!

I don't like either to be honest. However, I'd go for Marissa, because there's a pet named Aisha on Neopets (kid's site).

Its hard to say without knowing the second name too - you can have the nicest name in the world but with the wrong surname it could be disastrous.
On face value I'd say I prefer Aisha.

I typed them both in on google. Aisha came up with prophet Muhammeds wife.
Marissa came up with that tart from the oc.
i know who id rather be named after!

Names should be picked upon a few things--their meaning. The child, more so than not, has to live the rest of their life with that name. It is good to have choices, but wait until the baby gets here and give them a name that suits them according to their personality.
