I was watching this documentary the other night about this poor little girl who was raped, beaten and murdered in a horrible way. The man who did it confessed and received the death penalty. Her grandmother on her father's side was all for it. Her grandmother on her mother's side was totally against it she even befriended the man who tortured her granddaughter and murdered her and began to protest at the court house! In my opinion, if a crime this horrible is directed towards a child, there should be no other punishment besides capitol punishment! What are your opinions?

For starters, this guy should fry...no question.
Someone recently asked me the pros and cons of capital punishment and I'll list them again here:
Pros: Helps to eliminate murderers/rapists/pedophiles. Reduces population of multiple time losers in prisons rather than rewarding them with a lifetime of free food and shelter paid for by the taxpayers. Reduces need for taxpayer-funded "rehabilitation programs" where the offender is "rehabilitated", then released to kill/rape again. Improves the gene pool. Serves as a deterrent to future criminals (and yes, it does work in other countries despite what liberals say, and there are statistics to back it up).

Cons: None except for the huge supply of scum who deserve it. Occasionally an "innocent" person is put to death; but historically in the US the number of cases like that is very small, less than 1/10 of 1 percent...and with improved DNA technology this number is fast approaching zero. I put the word "innocent" in quotes because as a rule, if you are in the system, you aren't totally innocent... even if you aren't necessarily guilty of murder. Let's say the guy didn't KILL the kid, he just participated in the torture and rape part. If he's 'mistakenly' put to death don't you think he got what he deserved anyway?

Even though there will always be some idiot out there willing to see if he can "get away with it", capital punishment is the single most effective crime deterrent available, despite what bleeding-heart liberals might think.
It is a proven fact that for every rehabilitation success story, which the liberal media glorifies at every turn, there are 1000+ failures where the offender repeats the crime. Offering someone life in prison in today's justice system means offering them a life of free food, shelter, medical care, education, and the ever-present chance to escape and do it again. The death penalty insures without a doubt that they'll never do it again. Enough said.

contained in the Christian Bible you'll locate arguments both for and hostile to capital punishment (as is real with maximum topics). there are one of those passages contained in the old testomony that help capital punishment, usually for incredibly gentle offenses: - Adultery (Leviticus 20:10) - Blasphemy (Leviticus 24:16) - Breaking the Sabbath (Exodus 31:14 & 15) - Disobedient little ones (Exodus 21:15 & 17; Leviticus 20:9) - Homosexuality (Leviticus 20:13) - no longer being a virgin on your wedding ceremony nighttime (yet provided that you're a woman - Deuteronomy 22:20-21) notwithstanding, the hot testomony (starring Jesus) is by and massive ANTI-lack of existence penalty. as an party: - Matthew 5:7 (Jesus praises mercy) - Matthew 5:38-39 (Jesus rejects "a watch for a watch") - James 4:12 (GOD is the in straight forward words individual who can take a existence contained in the call of justice) - Romans 12:17-21 (do no longer answer evil with evil; God will see to justice contained in the afterlife) - John 8:7 (all people are imperfect, and hence unqualified to go back to a decision no matter if someone lives or dies) - James a million:20 (my personal well known: "For the wrath of guy worketh no longer the righteousness of God.") there are one of those, many useful problems with capital punishment (that I gained't get into right here), yet in basic terms from an ethical attitude, that is incredibly sparkling that Jesus did not help it. real CHRISTians shouldn’t, both.

an eye for an eye as far as i am concerned, i know we get very emotional when its a child that murdered by one of these sick individuals,,but if we put away the emotion for one minute and concentrate on any murder,, we all know its wrong every time and i feel death is the best way to dispose of this human garbage,,
however having said that ,,how many times have people been found guilty of murder and years later it has been prov en to be unsafe and the person has been released,
its difficult but i think most people would agree life sentence should mean life not time off for good behavior,, no TV set in their cell and certainly no privileges,
how does the families of a victim get pa-roll ,,
thank god I'm not a judge

I would use Capital Punishment on all raptists, child perverts,
all repeat offenders on the three strikes and you're out law and including murderers.

Hell yes he should die. Why even leave some possibility open so that the person could out and do that to another child? He deserves to die a horrible death.

My idea is this...let the "antis" foot the bill for the guy to stay alive in prison for the rest of his life. It is something like 50-70 dollars a day.....
To sum it up....an eye for eye....

It doesn't help anything to kill the man. Personally, I think it lets criminals off easily. To simply die is not punishment enough. They should rot and die in jail as far as I'm concerned.

Wow! I am absoluetly appalled. No one deserves that kind a treatment. That man should be hung by his tongue and then again he really needs forgiveness. He is obviously a psychopath!
