Sorry that it is in Lithuanian. However it happens often. Many important decisions, not only projects are not reported in other languages. I do not know why. It makes more difficult anyanalysis by wider circle of experts.

Lithuania hopes that USA adopts no visa entrance regime when biometric passports will be introduced. But thing about ethnicity record seems to become central in this issue. (Only in Lithuanian, about discussions in the Parliament: http://www.delfi.lt/archive/article.php?id=9662335)

That's news to me! I am a Lithuanian citizen, but my ethnicity is not recorded in my passport. Are you sure it is mandatory? I don't think so.

What is wrong with it? It could help in cases of emergencies. Perhaps if you gave us a bit more information such as what the motivation for this is it would help us make a more informed analysis.
