My 5-year-old daughter says it "oh sa-NAP!" ~ it means "oh darn" or something like that. I think it started on the Disney Channel show "That's So Raven" which is really a pretty cute show!

Hello to you!
Well there used to be a rap / disco somethin or other group called Snap - They had a song I think was called or went like - "I've Got The Power"! Now they, like many rap or r&b artists would say the name of their band in their song. Like Shakira and her friend who says, "Shakira Shakira" - if you think about it, it's a good idea!
I think that's where it really originates from. And yes, it is a nice way of saying "Oh S**t.

"youngsters have the right to carry close the reality." No, youngsters, do no longer. youngsters have the right to a contented, healthful, good formative years. each from time to time that could want to't ensue in case you tell them certain issues. might want to I purely pass telling each baby I see that there is not any such aspect as Santa? No because then you get rid of that happiness and innocence from them might want to moms and dads tell their little ones in the experience that they ever experimented with drugs, alcohol, cigarettes? No because then they experience this is okay to do those issues themselves. might want to they talk about their personal sex existence with their youngsters? No because then they experience justified in making those similar mistakes. Come on. Get genuine. some issues are extra efficient left unsaid, and typically this is extra significant to guard your little ones than to inform them the reality. you would possibly want to not in any respect talk ill of the different verify. what's it going to finish? no longer something except make the baby look poorly upon their personal moms and dads. this is no longer needed. they could study this stuff even as they advance up and they could stumble on them on their personal. in case you've raised a wise baby, they're no longer precisely going to look as a lot as a loser deadbeat verify besides. there is not any reason to inform them, all it does is damage the baby. So why would you try this? to inform the reality. might want to I also tell youngsters that get excitement from issues jointly with music, paintings, and activities that they suck at them because this is real? No. some issues, as I stated, are extra efficient left unsaid. they're going to study as they advance up, and they could journey that on their personal, no longer from moms and dads whispering their personal reviews of their baby's ear.

when somone finds out something they didn't know before, they say "oh, snap!"
it could be that they just found out that they were wrong about something, or it could be some interesting, funny, outrageous, or scary thing that they found out.
it is also used to disagree with someone..."oh, snap...no you didn't!"
