The idea of love notes is wonderful! I used to put them in my husbands lunch, on the dash of his truck, in his sock drawer, where ever. Also I believe that human contact is the best medicine for whatever ails you, so go ahead with the massages - temples, neck, shoulder, feet, legs, back, where ever! I also draw a nice bath for my husband with lavender fizzing salts as lavender is relaxing. Sex is also a great stress reliever, but for some people the performance part of it could add stress. Music is also a great soother. Maybe get a book on meditating and meditate together. Also listening is great!! Humor is a wonderful stress-reliever, but I am not a big fan of TV and sitcoms - is there a comedy show in your area?, or lighten the mood yourself with a funny antecdote. Did you ask him what you can do to help? Maybe there are menial tasks or details that he would gladly hand over to someone else. Just make sure he knows he is appreciated!!

Have him start drinking Chamomile Tea, and SleepyTime Extra with Valerian Tea - both will calm him.
Get the house smelling like lavender (candles, incense, fabric softener, floor cleaner, air fresheners, etc). It also is quite calming.
You can buy a supplement called Valerian Root at Walmart, Health Food stores, and some supermarkets. At first, he should only take it at night - as it may make him sleepy.
B-Complex vitamins are especially made for stress. He may also need some Vitamin C and E.
Have him take warm baths (with lavender soap or bubble bath), as this is also relaxing.
If all of the above fail - he needs to go to the doctor and get some real medicine for anxiety/depression, etc (whatever the dr. diagnoses as wrong). Then you need to see to it that he takes it on time, every time.
Good luck.

well i don't know what you have done already but i'd say just making home the least stressful it can be would be awesome, try to take care of as much of that on your own as you can. back rubs are always nice (whole body rubs with some nice lotion are even better), peace and quiet, happiness and distraction from the situation when he doesn't have to be dealing with it, good food, vitamins (they are important to the body when one is under stress) make sure he gets enough sleep, and his favorite sexual things, but it seems that you are probably doing a wonderful job at letting him know you are in his corner no matter what and that is probably the most important thing you could give him.

I have been having the same problem with my husband. As far as I know there isn't much that you can do. Just be there for him and talk to him. Try and help him get things off his chest. Maybe rub his back just little things. Take away as much stress as you can.Things that he normally does around the house that you can do. I hope it helps. Good luck

well maybe at night tell him to take a shower before he goes to bed and rub him down with some of that body oil that gets hot on your body and just massage his body to loosen his muscles up. maybe help him with decisions that are making him stressed out, help him see the bright sides of things if you can, um make him some of his favorite foods that will just melt in his mouth. just pay more special attention to him, let him know that you care and that you are there, good luck!

when he gets home leave the tv off, put the radio on something easy.
make a nice dinner.
tell him how you feel and hug him often.
love has a way of conquering stress when applied.
[ be available when he needs an ear,let him know he is not alone ]
good luck

Give him some and give it to him good. Ya know, works. Candle Light Dinner, lingerie, massage, and whatever kind of position/action he prefers. guaranteed stress relief and a good night's rest will do wonders for his mood.

it's hard to say...b/c you can't controll how much he worries about things, and chances are you can't change his circumstances any...probably all the talking in the world is not going to help him relax. maybe dinner and a funny movie for a temporary fix, otherwise, just be supportive, help him ride it out and he'll remember it when this is all over.

Nightly back massages and choose a funny show to watch on TV to make you both laugh. It's really important that you give him time to talk and really listen.
