My friend and I love shopping but we need a good job and we live in a small town with not many stores or anything like that.We have a few but not enough I mean everyone works at them and they are all booked and we are only 13 which doesnt help much but we really like kids but there really isnt anyone to babysit!Please help us we have only a lil bit before our chances are all gone!!

If you really like babysitting, maybe put up some homemade ads in the grocery store and other stores advertising that there are a couple of teenage girls willing to babysit. Put some other information, and your phone number. Or offer to clean elderly people's yards or something. I know this one sounds kind of dumb, but I had a lemonade stand with a friend when I was eight, and I think we probably made around thirty dollars. We sold lemonade, coffee, smoothies, cookies, and home-grown eggs. That's a lot more complicated though.

um... well since you are only 13 you cant legally get a job except maybe some yard work for you neighbors or a paper route, but that requires getting up early everyday including weekends : ( try walking neighbors dogs or for even more money clean up yards of those that have dogs. glad you want to earn your $ instead of just asking for it. maybe you could have a little camp for a day or so and teach a few kids how to make braclets and things and some other fun activities. charge $5 a kid. make posters and put them all over town, or if that wont work, just sell your braclets.

Aside from odd jobs (babysitting, mowing lawns, lemonade stands, cleaning houses, running errands, etc) there are few options for 13 year olds; however, if you have a local paper, consider a paper route.
If you are good with computers, offer to help people fix theirs, or even design simple webpages.

If your options are limited you must create your own options. Do any of these businesses need their windows washed? Lawns mowed? Painting done? Go from business to business, house to house and ask for odd jobs. There are always things that people would rather pay a few bucks an hour to have done than do themselves.

You say. both you and your friend are only 13? No place can legally hire you for 3 more years. If babysitting is not an option, then I suggest you do what most 13 years old do.....chores.....

Try a lawn or cleaning service. You can post it on the bulletin boards in town. Of course someone might be doing this already.

Try looking in the newspaper or on the internet. Or ask your neighbors to cut there grass or stuff like that. Or start your own bussiness and you could do it at home!
