I've been to a few gay pride parades.. they're a lot of fun, and I think its important to demonstarte that after years of discrimintaion and segregation they are welcome members of our communities
- I'm a straight man.

I thought it was funny how in Atlanta their stage got knocked down the first night.
Then later in the weekend, a gay couple's house got hit by lightening.
Not funny in a glad way, funny because I know some people are going to see that as "SIGNS FROM GOD" that "HOMOSEXUALITY IS WRONG!"

Why would anyone go to this? If gay people wanted to really be treated like evryone else, they wouldn't have a parade. They want it both ways. They want to be treated like everyone else when it benefits them, and when standing out benefits them well, they want that, too.
