Most of the times, the problem is that we are using products containing mineral oil and alcohol and fragrances these all are very damaging for our skin's health.... mineral oil because it is an ingredient that is derivated form petroleum....it will be like using car oil and exposing your self to the sun in fact it is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin (1st thing will be the sun) using fragrances or chemicals or dyes are known irritants and can cause allergic reactions. what i use to shave my legs would be a face wash formulatted without these i have told you about ... it is called Nutrimin-C RE9 Face wash: look for it at the left margin under anti-aging.... I know it is a face wash but honestly it is great and leaves your skin smooth and shinny.... and after that you can put their body lotion fast without waiting for it will not give you a reaction or sting.... https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arb...

Try to shave at the end of the shower after the hair follicle has absorbed water and becomes softer. Also always use new sharp blades and shave cream. There is some stuff called tendskin (I got it at Sephora) that you can dab on with cotton round after shaving that will clean and disinfect the area and prevent razor burn.

To prevent it, wet the skin first, warm water. Use any shaving cream, even body wash works well. Don't press down hard when using the razor. If you get burned, use aloe vera to soothe. Even better if you put it in the refrigerator. This way any time you get cut, It's handy to cool and kill the burn. Good Luck!

If you are shaving in the shower, wait until you are done washing your hair and washing your body, etc. Hair is softer and easier to shave then.

shave at the end of your shower or bath so the hair is softer, don't use an old blade - once you start to feel like it's pulling stop using it, use shaving gel or lotion or aloe vera or conditioner
