the first thing i'd say is don't worry about the husband in jail, he got himself there and its his problem...staying out of jail is really pretty easy all you have to do is not break the law so he made his choice he's on his own. for you well you need to find another job, maybe you shouldn't have filed whatever you did until you had plan b in place, get out there and look and do whatever it takes, sign up at a temp agency for work, they can usually get you there fast, as far as a place to go you could try contacting a womans shelter in your area, they could guide you to resources in your area that could help you until you get on your feet, they are usually for a limited time but its better than nothing. good luck to you.

If you are a member of a church, go there and ask for help. If you are not, still try churches - some of them will help anyone who asks.

What about Public Assistance, Public Housing, Food Stamps, Medicaid, etc.? They work a lot faster if you are in a crisis situation.

In some places the Salvation Army and Good Will will help people in need. There are also mental health crisis centers who can help - and you must be at least emotionally drained.

I wish you much luck.

"transactions I filed on the company"=I stole from the company I worked for and got caught. Sounds like you married the right guy....thieves of a feather flock together....just keep doing what you're doing and you'll be with hubby soon enough....or at least some prison dyke that you can call your hubby.

Try to go to a homeless shelter for help. The welfare office will help you find a place. I am sure there are other places to go for help. Just look around. Sorry you lost everything. Maybe sell the computer if it is yours.

there is wicked_dump again putting in comments that talks about him/herself. STOP being so rude to people. I am sure you don't have the perfect life.

I think this is where you determine what you want to be. If you have no children then, the sky is the limit. I say find someplace to stay and look for another job every day, any way you can. Two most important things to get on your feet. 1. job--- have to have money coming in 2. transportation---- have to get to job. Then finally get your own apartment any where. I would totally get out of any neighborhood where your constantly having to look over your shoulder, That is a huge, and Important factor "get out of the hood". If you have to go to a shelter to start with step 1&2 then start their. YOUR IN SURVIVAL MODE FOR NOW , also one more important thing you must learn now, that is you must loose the "PLEASE HELP ME ATTITUDE" don't get me wrong, people will help people out, but I've learned that having that attitude please help, will be a crutch to your life. Replace the "please help" with HOW CAN I DO THIS? and figure it out on your own, MENTALITY. please keep in mind, I'm talking about thought process, how we think. I have found that most homeless people have this mentality and can never get out. those who do change their thinking, and this is the way. Good Luck, and God Bless

If you dont' have family go to dept of human services, apply for hud and public assistance.
They will direct you better than I can after that. If you get really lucky ask the Lord to direct you to a church that will help.
I will pray for you that you find a place to help you.
Love,
Elizabeth

for the rude and judges on before me
shut up we're tired of hearing you complain about
everything they would nt be hurting if you would get off
your butts and help out.
she didnt ask to be judged, but for help,
those who gave the right advice, your Father in heavan
will reward you with good advice.
Amen

You can start by turning off the computer and looking for a new job. And if you dont have interview clothes, the pawn shop is a great place to sell your computer.

Measured desired result takes a measured desired action.

Keep your head up and trust in God. I know the situation may seem dire, but you obviously have one resource-the computer. Search for organizations that help or provide information to spouses of the incarcerated. There is always someone to help, but they won't find you, you must persevere and find them.
Good Luck!!!!

you have to stay strong and believe in yourself and your relationship. you have to go out and find another job. your husband could start blaming himself for your declining because of his situation and don't let that happen. you have many local and state agencies and services that can help you out. you just have to be willing to do the work and get out there and help yourself.
