Window Installer?

I have windows XP media addition,and every time I log on I get a "windows installer" window that flashes.I've tried downloading updates but that doesn't work.I also have all windows updates.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

From a command line, run "msconfig"

- Click on the tab named "Startup", and one at a time, turn one of them off, and reboot your computer. Whichever one makes the problem go away is the program that is causing this (and which must be repaired.)

well till now i have not faced this problem, its better to reinistall your OS once again,.
