A candle dripped on the carpet and now there is a spot of melted wax that won't come out.

Take a paper towl put it over the wax and take an iron over it and it will absorb the wax on to the towel.

-Let the wax harden, then scrap off the excess with a dull knife.
-Place part of a paper bag, a sheet of newspaper, paper towels, or a clean cloth over the wax.
-Using a warm iron, press gently on the paper bag. Be careful not to leave the iron in one place too long or you may burn the carpet fibers.
Voila! The paper bag will soak up the melted wax.

What I ended up doing to mine was: get some old newspaper and your clothes iron out and put the papers down over the wax and press the iron on there for a few seconds. Lift the paper quickly and continue to put more papers down and do this same procedure until you get most the wax out. I then took a little Dawn dish soap and a warm rag and washed it clean. Good Luck.

Batiking is an art using melted wax and dies.....to remove the wax for a finished product , I use an iron set on medium and newspapers to absorb as it melts. If that doesnt work cut it out....call a carpet cleaning company and ask their opinion.

First, use ice to harden the wax and remove as much as you can by hand. THEN, use the paper towel and iron trick. Use all areas of the paper towel, doing this several times until you don't get much pick-up anymore on the towel.

i have read all of your answers several of them gave you the right answer place a paper bag over spot put a tea towel on bag so you will not burn the bag place an iron on it for a few seconds then move the bag see if it is gone repeat if not it depends on the size of the spot to how long it will take to remove good luck

Put a towel over the spot and use an iron to heat the wax again, it should transfer to the towel. (I don't know if a paper towel is necessary)

ok, take either a rag, or tin foil, and an iron..... put the iron at it's hottest, put the rag/tin foil over the wax, and "iron" it..... the wax should come off the carpet and onto the rag or foil. have done this before, so i know it works :0) good luck!

Use an ice cube on it and try peeling it off. or put a piece of paper on top off it and iron over it.
