I wanted to know if there is meaning to a picture with the dragons back facing you or a side view of a dragon. Also what is the meaning of the head facing downward or upward or even left or right?

Maybe you could apply the rules for money. If an eagle's head on currency is facing his right shoulder, it is called Dexter, and means it was printed during times of peace. If it is facing his left shoulder, it is called sinister, and means it was printed during war.

I know some tatto artists who say it's bad luck to have a dragon's face (or any face) pointing backwards. Idunno?
