My husband claims I am not a friend to him, but won't say what he wants in a friend. I am not sure I am capable of listening to him talk without understanding what he is talking about so I ask questions and he gets irritated. Should I just listen and have no clue? What else do guys need from a friend?

Loyalty is first and foremost, after that it's honesty and understanding (which as a woman you really cannot do). His getting upset with you, and not communicating, is cause for alarm. I would suggest that you think about getting into counseling. You're not his girlfriend, you're his wife.
