I am light skinned too, but you can still have fun with different colors! Depending on your eye color, different eyeshadows are fun to experiment with. I have pale blue eyes, so I have always been complimented when I wear grays, deep blues, or purples. With brown eyes, you can use brown and other earth toney colors and even greens look great. With light skin, you dont want to over do your blush, try dusting on a light pink from the apple of your cheek to right before your hairline. Pale pink lip gloss is a great way to top off your makeup, and these tips can be used day or night!

Make arrangements at the cosmetics counter for a consultation. They will help you find good colors. If you don't want to go that route, start with soft, sheer colors that suit your skin tone. Look in the mirror and hold up a pink shirt to your face, then one that is peach. Whichever one looks best without making you look blue or yellow is the family of colors to go with. Whatever your eyecolor, find a shade that is opposite for your eyes so they stand out and look pretty. Have fun with it, and under do it rather than overdoing it. Also remember you can never blend too much for a smooth finished look.

You should ask a dermatologist or a lady behind the counter at a makeup shop in the mall. They can tell you which colors bring out your eyes or look good with your skin and those that make you look horrible or not as pretty.

well being a Mary Kay consultant i would recommend you to try light brown. But it really depends on how it makes you feel when you wear makeup. Here why don't you try the virtual make over on my web site, and you can pick a model with the same skin type or what is close to yours, and see what the different types we have, and see which one suits you best.

Eyes:
Peach eyeshadow
If you want eyeliner, go with steel or chocolte brown (black might be a little much)
Curl your lashes and add a touch of brown/black mascara
Cheeks-peach/light pinks
Lips-pinkish brown lipgloss/stick
Good luck! Just experiment and see what look best on you. Remember, we can't tell exactly what your skin color looks like, so you really just have to try it out for yourself! =)
